"What are your feelings on losing followers? Have you ever stopped following a blog?"
My Answer: Well, I feel a little sad and embarrassed when I lose followers because I feel like I'm not doing a very good job. It is what it is though. I've never stopped following a blog because I've never felt the need to. When I choose to follow a blog, I do it because I like their content.
"Who are your favorite authors?"
My Answer: I really like Cassandra Clare, Becca Fitzpatrick, Carrie Ryan, and Jennifer Laurens.
Hopping through. Old follower. I try not to take it personally when I lose a follower, but it does make me a little sad, even though it really shouldn't. Human nature, I suppose.
ReplyDeleteyour blog header is adorable!! i'm just hopping by from the hops!!

Just following through. I have yet to read cassandra clares books but I have them on my list. :)
ReplyDeleteJust stopping by through Follow Friday. Your blog is gorgeous! I am big fan of Jennifer Laurens too. I can't wait to get my hands on Absolution.
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower. I hope you stop by my blog at http://irresistiblereads.blogspot.com/
Hey! Just stopping by on the hop! I'm your newest follower! As for this week's question: Whenever I lose a follower I'm not as concerned if it was one of the wallflowers (who don't contribute) as when it's an active participant. If it's the later, I've obviously goofed... but you can't make everyone happy!

I'm a new follower! It is a little sad to lose a follower especially since you can't ask why...
ReplyDeleteOh well, I guess we all get over it. I LOVE Cassandra Clare. I'll have to check out the other authors you like. Your blog is amazing!

Have a great weekend and I hope you get lots of followers and don't lose any!
I'm always a little bummed when I lose followers but make every effort to
ReplyDeleteturn every lost follower into a learning experience so I can improve my
performance.
On the flip side, I only stop following people when they give me a reason to
such as being totally off message or being too controversial in an negative,
over-the-top way.
Happy Book Blogger Hop Friday!

ReplyDeleteGlad to have found you via the Hop and FF. I'm your newest Follower!
ReplyDeleteI love Cassandra Clare, too. It's rare that I like EVERYTHING an author has written, but in Clare's case, I do.
Have a great weekend!
Hopping over. I'm going to have to check out Cassandra Clare. This is fun, isn't it?

New follower here! I love your blog, it's so cute and happy looking! I also feel sad when I lose a follower, but it always gives you a little wake-up call to try just a little harder.
ReplyDeleteHappy hopping!
I loved Carrie Ryan's first book, but I haven't read the second yet. Don't sweat losing followers if you have - you run a great blog and peoples' tastes simply change.
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a good weekend!

ReplyDeleteI made a booboo in my last comment. Sorry. I don't have many followers yet, so if I lose one, I will mourn. Then, because I'm good at lying to myself, I will say that they must've been on a cruise & gotten sucked into a whirlpool. Poor dears. Most of your favs are ones I (the Mom part of BDWR's blogging duo)dig. But I have to say I didn't love Dead Tossed Waves as much as Forest... Oh, and Becca Fitzpatrick spoke at a writers' conference I recently went to & she is as nice as she is talented. : )
