How's life right now?
Shit could always be better, you know? The big corporations have us by the balls. Stuff blows up all the time. Folks are sleeping in their cars. But Mom and me and Mr. Mao have roof over our heads. Mrs. B's baking some killer blueberry muffins right now. And the girl I've been crushing on for so long is actually waiting for me after school. Me.
Have you ever had romantic feelings for Winter?
Winter? Dude. She's like my sister. If I had one.
If you could change one thing in your life what would you change?
Mom is working double shifts to get us our own place, and I get that, but I like it here in Black Dog Village. But, if we did get an apartment, I'd see more of her.
What three things would have if you were stuck on an island?
My sketchpad, pencils, and some tunes.
What's your favorite animal?
Dog, definitely. You know where you stand with dogs. And Mrs. B. says I kinda eat like one. I gobble everything down because you never know if you'll get more.
Interesting. This definitely gives a great impression of what to expect the conditions in the world within Memento Nora. :) I've heard great things about this book.
