Ugh, this is my last Friday of no school...:( Well, on to the question!
Q: Worst cover? What is the worst cover of a book that you've read and loved?
A: I really loved Delirium by Lauren Oliver, but the first cover was kinda bland and boring and didn't really show off the book. The new covers are bright and eye-catching so I'm glad the publisher changed them.

I haven't read Delirium, but this cover did nothing to make me want to read it either!

I haven't read this book, but I did like this cover. I saw that you could take the dust jacket of and you could see the girl. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great friday!

This is probably a good example of the publishers changing the covers to make them better and not worse :P Old Follower!

Yes, that cover is not the most appealing, but I hate when the publishers change the cover or reprint the book under a different title...It is confusing to the consumer and in my opinion a bit of a dishonesty. But that's me. I responded with Stephanie Plum covers...very colorful, but so not appealing. Gotta love Stephanie and her band of misfits though!

To be honest, I actually liked the older covers better! I don't know why exactly. I like the new covers as well, but I liked the brightness of the first cover.
